About Our Club

AMA Club Charter # 701

The club was created on February 11, 1973, for the purpose of promoting model aircraft building and operation in the Mahoning Valley, and to further promote the parent organization, the American Academy of Model Aeronautics [ AMA ]. We maintain two flying fields: the primary field is in Columbiana County, at Shaker Woods; the other in Mahoning County, between Poland and Struthers. There are currently about 50 active members.

Membership
