MON thur SAT: 9:00 AM - Until Dark Sunday: 10:00 AM - Until Dark * Night Flying permitted until 11:00 PM for Electric powered airplanes, which are self illuminated for safe operation. NO DRONES EVER at SHAKER FIELD, per Property Owner.

STRUTHERS FIELD

Flying Field Horus:

MON thur SAT: 9:00 AM - Until Dark Sunday: 10:00 AM - Until Dark * Night Flying permitted until 11:00 PM for Electric powered airplanes, which are self illuminated for safe operation. DRONES are allowed at Struthers Field, as long as operator does not interfere with take off or landings of winged aircraft, who have priority of the air strip.

Directions:

5731 ARREL SMITH RD, STRUTHERS OH 44471 Rt 224 to Struther’s Rd [Poland Little Red School House is on the NE corner, flashing light at intersection. Head North 0.9 Mile. Continue straight, no turns, continuing on Ariel Smith Rd [Struther’s Road turns left]. Flying Field is on the Right, watch for signs. Ariel Smith Rd is marked by signs on the telephone pole above the stop sign for the southbound lane, as Struther’s Road is veering left. NOTE: FIELD ENTRANCE ACROSS FROM RESIDENCE AT 5540 ARREL SMITH RD

Directions:

Enter by Rt 881, West County Line Road, going West off Rt 7 [Market Street], about ½ Mile North of intersection of Rt. 7 and Rt. 14 in Columbiana. Please be courteous and do NOT enter or exit the Field by the gravel road south of the farm house. 217 Rt 7, Columbiana OH

PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE ONTO THE GRASS OF EITHER FIELD when the ground is wet, as this will leave trenches on the field from your tires. FUN FLY EVENTS: ENTER SHAKER WOODS FIELD FROM COUNTY LINE ROAD. FLYING FIELD HOURS will be strictly enforced. Violation of these hours puts the Club at risk of loosing our flying sites. Violators risk loosing Membership in MC Model Club.
